The Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development (CARD) is an Armenian foundation established in 2005 as a successor to the U.S. Government Agricultural Advisory Program in the Republic of Armenia from 1993 to 1996, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Marketing Assistance Program (MAAP) from 1996 to 2005. CARD’s mission is to assist farmers and agribusinesses in the production and marketing of food and related products to increase income and create jobs that will lead to sustainable livelihoods for the rural population and thereby contribute to poverty alleviation.

The Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia is currently collaborating with the CARD Foundation in the process of numbering and registering cattle.
