TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange - TAIEX) is the European Commission's technical assistance and information exchange instrument. TAIEX provides assistance to public administrations in the approximation and implementation of EU legislation, contributing to the study of EU best practices. TAIEX provides needs assessments in the public sector and provides individual short-term expert advice. TAIEX is used in the following formats: a) expert missions, b) workshops, c) study visits and d) evaluation missions (a combination of the above events).

The Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia, together with the TAIEX National Contact Point, organizes the work aimed at cooperation with the EU in the implementation of the instrument.
